Apparently, Liberal women love to die for a cause, such as advancing the career of a world changing deity like Ted Kennedy!
According to Melissa Lasky, a writer with The Huffington Post, one can only wonder want Mary Jo Kepechne would think about the passing of this liberal saint. Mary Jo was a woman who's life was cut short because she got into the car with a young senator, who had a alcohol problem, one fateful night. A scared man left this bright young woman, with her whole life ahead of her, to die while he fled the scene instead of calling the authorities. Yet, according to Lasky, Kepechne may have, after all, enjoyed dying for the cause of launching Ted Kennedy's career!
Well, heck why don't liberal women of the world unite and sacrifice themselves to launch the careers of more "Lions of the Senate!!!" If good ol' Mary Jo can do it, so can YOU!
Just the thought of this is absurd! The closing statement in this Huffington-Puffington article, "Who knows -- maybe (Kepechne)'d feel it was worth it." just really blew me away. This was low, even for a liberal. Who comes up with such a thing? A young woman, who'd not yet reached all that she was destined for, would have felt that laying down her life on the altar of liberalism was all worth it to launch one man's career, a man who finds humor in her sacrifice and enjoys a good "Chappaquidick joke" now and then?!?!
Well, if you ever doubt your influence in the world you can always go find yourself a young Senator with an alcohol problem to give you a ride, and who knows you in the end you may realize it was all worth it!
